# Get audience

> Retrieves one custom audience.

`metaAds.getAudience` retrieves one custom audience.

import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { metaAds } from "automate.ax/meta-ads"

export default automation("Get audience", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Get audience" })
  const result = metaAds.getAudience({ id: "audience-id" })
  // Use result in the next advertising, reporting, or delivery operation.
})
```

Use `fields` to add fields to the typed audience projection. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns the audience ID, name, description, subtype, and account.
