# Get insights

> Reads delivery insights for an ad account, campaign, ad set, or ad.

`metaAds.getInsights` reads delivery insights for an ad account, campaign, ad set, or ad.

Use `fields`, `breakdowns`, `datePreset` or `timeRange`, `level`, and cursor inputs. Large queries may be rejected or require a narrower range. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns `{ items, pageInfo }` with string-valued metrics and reporting dates.
