# Get subscription

> Retrieves one custom event subscription from an ad account.

`metaAds.getSubscription` retrieves one custom event subscription by ID.

import { metaAds } from "automate.ax/meta-ads"

export default automation("Get subscription", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Get subscription" })

  // Use subscription in the next advertising or reporting operation.

```

Returns the subscription ID, event type, condition, filters, and status. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.
