# Hide Page comment

> Hides a comment on a Facebook Page post without deleting it.

`metaAds.hidePageComment` hides a comment on a Facebook Page post without deleting it.

```ts automations/meta-ads-hide-page-comment.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { metaAds } from "automate.ax/meta-ads"

export default automation("Hide Page comment", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Hide Page comment" })
  metaAds.hidePageComment({ commentId: "comment-id", pageId: "page-id" })
})
```

Use [Unhide Page comment](https://docs.automate.ax/reference/integrations/meta-ads/actions/unhide-page-comment.md) to restore it. Hiding is safe to retry. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns `success`. The action needs `pages_manage_engagement`, `pages_read_user_content`, and `pages_show_list`.
