# List Instagram conversations

> Lists an Instagram professional account's direct-message conversations.

`metaAds.listInstagramConversations` lists an Instagram professional account's direct-message conversations.

Find `instagramAccountId` with [List Instagram accounts](https://docs.automate.ax/reference/integrations/meta-ads/actions/list-instagram-accounts.md). Pass `userId`, an IGSID, to find the conversation with one person. `limit` defaults to `25`. Meta limits this edge to 2 calls per second per account and requires the Meta app to belong to a verified business. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns conversations with `id` and `updatedTime`, plus a `pageInfo` cursor. The action needs `instagram_basic`, `instagram_manage_messages`, `pages_manage_metadata`, and `pages_show_list`.
