# List Instagram media comments

> Lists top-level comments on Instagram media.

`metaAds.listInstagramMediaComments` lists top-level comments on one Instagram media object, newest first.

For an ad, use the creative's `effective_instagram_media_id` as `mediaId`. Replies aren't included; read them through each comment's `replies` field. `limit` defaults to and can't exceed `50`. Meta offers no time filter. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns comments with the same fields as [Get Instagram comment](https://docs.automate.ax/reference/integrations/meta-ads/actions/get-instagram-comment.md) and a `pageInfo` cursor. The action needs the same permissions.
