# List Messenger conversations

> Lists a Facebook Page's Messenger conversations.

`metaAds.listMessengerConversations` lists a Facebook Page's Messenger conversations.

```ts automations/meta-ads-list-messenger-conversations.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { metaAds } from "automate.ax/meta-ads"
export default automation("List Messenger conversations", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "List Messenger conversations" })
  const conversations = metaAds.listMessengerConversations({
    pageId: "page-id",
    userId: "page-scoped-id",
  })
  // Pass a conversation ID to metaAds.listMessengerMessages.
})
```

Pass `userId`, a PSID, to find the conversation with one person. `limit` defaults to `25`. Meta omits Requests-folder conversations that are inactive for 30 days and limits this edge to 2 calls per second per Page. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns conversations with `id` and `updatedTime`, plus a `pageInfo` cursor. The action needs `pages_manage_metadata`, `pages_messaging`, `pages_read_engagement`, and `pages_show_list`.
