# Private reply to Page comment

> Sends one private Messenger reply to the author of a Facebook Page comment.

`metaAds.privateReplyToPageComment` sends one private Messenger message from the Page to the person who wrote a comment.

Meta allows one private reply per comment, within 7 days of the comment. After that, you can message the person again only after they reply, using [Send Messenger message](https://docs.automate.ax/reference/integrations/meta-ads/actions/send-messenger-message.md). You can't private-reply to comments posted by another Page. `text` accepts up to 2,000 characters. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns `recipientId`, the person's PSID, and `messageId`. Meta returns error `10900` when the comment already received a private reply and `10903` when the person can't receive one. Private replies aren't replay-safe. The action needs `pages_messaging` and `pages_show_list`.
