# Remove audience users

> Removes user rows from a custom audience.

`metaAds.removeAudienceUsers` removes user rows from a custom audience.

```ts automations/meta-ads-remove-audience-users.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { metaAds } from "automate.ax/meta-ads"
export default automation("Remove audience users", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Remove audience users" })
  const result = metaAds.removeAudienceUsers({
    audienceId: "audience-id",
    payload: { schema: ["EMAIL_SHA256"], data: [["hashed-email"]] },
  })
  // Use result in the next advertising, reporting, or delivery operation.
})
```

Use the same normalization, hashing, schema, and column order used when adding rows. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns the audience ID and number of received rows. Replaying the same rows is safe.
