# Get Notion data source

> Retrieve a data source and its property schema.

`notion.getDataSource` retrieve a data source and its property schema.

## Example

```ts automations/notion-get-data-source.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onSchedule } from "automate.ax"
import { notion } from "automate.ax/notion"

export default automation("Get Notion data source", () => {
  onSchedule({ schedule: "0 9 * * *" })

  notion.getDataSource({ data_source_id: "data-source-id" })
})
```

## Inputs

`data_source_id` is required. Every input accepts a compatible signal, and an optional second argument can select a named account.

## Output

Returns the full data source or a partial `data_source` reference.
