# Get Notion session

> Retrieve a Notion agent session and its current state.

`notion.getSession` retrieve a Notion agent session and its current state.

## Example

```ts automations/notion-get-session.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onSchedule } from "automate.ax"
import { notion } from "automate.ax/notion"

export default automation("Get Notion session", () => {
  onSchedule({ schedule: "0 9 * * *" })

  notion.getSession({ session_id: "session-id" })
})
```

## Inputs

`session_id` is required. Every input accepts a compatible signal, and an optional second argument can select a named account.

## Output

Returns the full `session`, including status, timestamps, pending actions, and provider error details when present.
