# On Notion file upload expired

> Start an automation when a pending Notion file upload expires.

`notion.onFileUploadExpired` start an automation when a pending Notion file upload expires.

## Example

```ts automations/notion-on-file-upload-expired.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { notion } from "automate.ax/notion"
export default automation("On Notion file upload expired", () => {
  const event = notion.onFileUploadExpired()
  event.transform(({ entity }) => entity.id)
})
```

## Configuration

The trigger takes no event filters. Its optional static `account` selects a named OAuth binding and defaults to the project's Notion binding. Personal access tokens cannot own webhook subscriptions.

## Event

Returns the typed expiry payload whose `entity` is the expired file-upload ID.

The event is narrowed to `file_upload.expired`; consumers do not need to inspect the raw type.

Automate.ax verifies the Notion signature, routes only to an eligible workspace principal, and deduplicates provider retries by event ID.
