# On Notion page properties updated

> Start an automation when Notion page properties change.

`notion.onPagePropertiesUpdated` start an automation when Notion page properties change.

## Example

```ts automations/notion-on-page-properties-updated.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { notion } from "automate.ax/notion"
export default automation("On Notion page properties updated", () => {
  const event = notion.onPagePropertiesUpdated()
  event.transform(({ entity }) => entity.id)
})
```

## Configuration

The trigger takes no event filters. Its optional static `account` selects a named OAuth binding and defaults to the project's Notion binding. Personal access tokens cannot own webhook subscriptions.

## Event

Returns the typed property-update payload. `data.updatedProperties` contains the changed property IDs and `data.parent` identifies the page container.

The event is narrowed to `page.properties_updated`; consumers do not need to inspect the raw type.

Automate.ax verifies the Notion signature, routes only to an eligible workspace principal, and deduplicates provider retries by event ID.
