# Complete flag

> Mark an Outlook message's follow-up flag complete.

`completeFlag` changes the follow-up status to `complete`.

import { completeFlag } from "automate.ax/outlook"

export default automation("Complete Outlook follow-up", () => {
  completeFlag({ messageId: "AAMkAGI2..." })
})
```

Required `messageId` identifies the message; optional `account` selects the
Microsoft binding. Returns the updated `OutlookMessage`, including the flag
status and any completion timestamp supplied by Graph.
