# Delete mail folder

> Moves a mail folder to Deleted Items and completes without output.

`outlook.deleteMailFolder` moves a mail folder to Deleted Items and completes without output.

## Example

```ts automations/outlook-delete-mail-folder.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { outlook } from "automate.ax/outlook"

export default automation("Delete mail folder", () => {
  outlook.deleteMailFolder({ folder: "Customers" })
})
```

## Inputs

Pass `{ folder: "Customers" }`. The optional second argument `{ account }` selects a Microsoft binding.

## Output

Moves a mail folder to Deleted Items and completes without output.

Microsoft Graph requires the scopes declared by the action. IDs are opaque and should be passed through unchanged.
