# Delete message

> Delete an Outlook message from its current folder.

`deleteMessage` deletes one message using Microsoft Graph's message deletion
behavior.

```

Required `messageId` identifies the message. Optional `account` selects the
Microsoft binding. Returns `Signal<void>`. The action does not provide a
permanent-delete option or a recoverability guarantee; Outlook controls how the
mailbox handles deletion from the current folder.
