# Get mail folder

> Returns one Outlook mail folder and its message counts.

`outlook.getMailFolder` returns one Outlook mail folder and its message counts.

## Example

```ts automations/outlook-get-mail-folder.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { outlook } from "automate.ax/outlook"

export default automation("Get mail folder", () => {
  outlook.getMailFolder({ folder: "Customers" })
})
```

## Inputs

Pass `{ folder: "Customers" }`. The optional second argument `{ account }` selects a Microsoft binding.

## Output

Returns one Outlook mail folder and its message counts.

Microsoft Graph requires the scopes declared by the action. IDs are opaque and should be passed through unchanged.
