# Subreddit event

`reddit.onSubredditEvent` start from a newly observed post or comment in one subreddit.

## Configuration

Set `subreddit` to the community name without `r/`. Use optional `account` to select a named Reddit binding.

## Event

Returns a discriminated event. `action` is `postCreated` with `post`, or `commentCreated` with `comment`.

Automate.ax polls once per minute. It establishes a baseline when the trigger becomes active and emits only items observed afterward. Temporary provider failures retry; missing permissions or inaccessible subreddits appear as a trigger reconciliation error.
