# Cancel broadcast

> Cancel a scheduled Resend broadcast.

`resend.cancelBroadcast` cancel a scheduled Resend broadcast.

import { resend } from "automate.ax/resend"

export default automation("Cancel broadcast", () => {
  resend.cancelBroadcast({ broadcastId: "broadcast_123" })
})
```

Cancellation succeeds only before Resend starts sending the broadcast. Returns the broadcast ID and object type. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the Resend account binding.
