# Create contact import

> Upload a CSV and queue an asynchronous Resend contact import.

`resend.createContactImport({ file, ... })` uploads a CSV file up to 50 MB. Optional `columnMap` maps contact or property keys to CSV columns. `onConflict` is `skip` or `upsert`; `segments` use `{ id }` objects and `topics` use `{ id, subscription }`. The result is `{ id, object: "contact_import" }`.
