# Create template

> Create a draft Resend email template.

`resend.createTemplate` create a draft Resend email template.

Provide at least one of `html`, `markdown`, or `text`. Templates accept up to 50 typed `string` or `number` variables; fallback values must match their declared types. Returns the new template ID and object type. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the Resend account binding.
