# Delete contact property

> Delete a Resend contact property.

`resend.deleteContactProperty` delete a Resend contact property.

```ts automations/resend-deleteContactProperty.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { resend } from "automate.ax/resend"

export default automation("Delete contact property", () => {
  resend.deleteContactProperty({ propertyId: "property_123" })
})
```

Deletion is permanent and returns the deleted property ID and status. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the Resend account binding.
