# Delete topic

> Delete a Resend subscription topic.

`resend.deleteTopic` delete a Resend subscription topic.

```ts automations/resend-deleteTopic.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { resend } from "automate.ax/resend"

export default automation("Delete topic", () => {
  resend.deleteTopic({ topicId: "topic_123" })
})
```

Deletion is permanent and returns the deleted topic ID and status. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the Resend account binding.
