# Get contact import

> Retrieve one Resend contact import.

`resend.getContactImport({ contactImportId })` retrieves import status, `createdAt`, optional nullable `completedAt`, and status-dependent row `counts`. Resend supplies total, created, updated, skipped, and failed counts after the import completes or fails; queued and in-progress imports can omit them.
