# Get domain claim

> Retrieve a Resend domain ownership claim.

`resend.getDomainClaim({ domainId })` retrieves the current ownership claim for a domain.

import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { resend } from "automate.ax/resend"

export default automation("Get Resend domain claim", () => {
  resend.getDomainClaim({ domainId: "domain_123" })
})
```

The result includes the proof record, expiration, claim status, and nullable blocking or failure reason.
