# On Resend email delivered

> Start an automation when a recipient mail server accepts a Resend email.

`onResendEmailDelivered` emits `email.delivered` when the recipient's mail server
accepts a message. Acceptance does not guarantee that a person read it.

```ts automations/record-resend-delivery.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { onResendEmailDelivered } from "automate.ax/resend"
export default automation("Record Resend deliveries", () => {
  const delivered = onResendEmailDelivered()
  delivered.transform(({ createdAt, data }) => ({
    createdAt,
    emailId: data.email_id,
    recipients: data.to,
  }))
})
```

Optional static `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns
`{ type: "email.delivered"; createdAt; data }`. `data` is provider-native JSON,
including delivery-specific email and recipient information when Resend supplies
it.
