# On Resend email received

> Start an automation when Resend receives an inbound email.

`onResendEmailReceived` emits `email.received` for inbound mail handled by
Resend. Use it for inbound routing or reply-processing workflows.

```ts automations/route-resend-inbound.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { onResendEmailReceived } from "automate.ax/resend"
export default automation("Route Resend inbound mail", () => {
  const received = onResendEmailReceived()
  received.transform(({ createdAt, data }) => ({
    createdAt,
    emailId: data.email_id,
    from: data.from,
    to: data.to,
  }))
})
```

Optional static `account` selects the binding. Returns
`{ type: "email.received"; createdAt; data }`. The provider-native `data` object
contains the inbound identity and envelope fields supplied by Resend; this
trigger does not impose a typed message-body or attachment shape.
