# On Resend email scheduled

> Start an automation when an email is scheduled for future sending.

`onResendEmailScheduled` emits `email.scheduled` after Resend accepts a future
delivery time.

```ts automations/record-resend-schedule.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { onResendEmailScheduled } from "automate.ax/resend"
export default automation("Record Resend schedules", () => {
  const scheduled = onResendEmailScheduled()
  scheduled.transform(({ createdAt, data }) => ({
    createdAt,
    emailId: data.email_id,
    scheduledAt: data.scheduled_at,
  }))
})
```

Optional static `account` selects the binding. Returns
`{ type: "email.scheduled"; createdAt; data }`. The event confirms scheduling,
not delivery. Use the ID in `data` with update or cancellation actions while the
email remains pending.
