# Archive private channel

> Archive a private Slack channel.

`slack.archivePrivateChannel` archives a private channel.

## Example

```ts automations/archive-private-channel.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { slack } from "automate.ax/slack"

export default automation("Archive private channel", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Archive private channel" })

  slack.archivePrivateChannel({ channelId: "G01234567" })
})
```

## Inputs

Requires the stable private `channelId`.

## Output

Completes without a value. Requires `groups:write`.
