# Archive public channel

> Archive a public Slack channel.

`slack.archivePublicChannel` archives a public channel.

## Example

```ts automations/archive-public-channel.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { slack } from "automate.ax/slack"

export default automation("Archive public channel", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Archive public channel" })

Requires the stable public `channelId`.

## Output

Completes without a value. Requires the bot scope `channels:manage`.
