# Enable user group

> Enable a previously disabled Slack user group.

`slack.enableUserGroup` restores a disabled user group.

## Example

```ts automations/enable-user-group.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { slack } from "automate.ax/slack"

export default automation("Enable user group", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Enable user group" })

  slack.enableUserGroup({ userGroupId: "S01234567" })
})
```

## Inputs

Requires the stable Slack `userGroupId`.

## Output

Returns the enabled user group. Requires `usergroups:write`, a paid Slack plan, and sufficient workspace permissions.
