# Remove reaction

> Remove the installed bot's emoji reaction from a Slack message.

`removeReaction` removes only the installed bot's matching reaction. It cannot
remove a reaction added by another member.

## Example

```ts automations/remove-slack-reaction.automation.ts theme={null}

import { removeReaction } from "automate.ax/slack"

export default automation("Remove Slack reaction", () => {
  removeReaction({
    conversationId: "C01234567",
    emoji: "eyes",

## Inputs

## Output

Returns `Signal<void>`. Slack rejects the operation when the installed bot does
not have that reaction on the target.
