# Remove user from public channel

> Remove a Slack member from a public channel.

`slack.removeUserFromPublicChannel` removes one member from a public channel.

## Example

```ts automations/remove-user-from-public-channel.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { slack } from "automate.ax/slack"

export default automation("Remove user from public channel", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Remove user from public channel" })

  slack.removeUserFromPublicChannel({
    channelId: "C01234567",
    userId: "U01234567",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Requires the public `channelId` and target `userId`.

## Output

Completes without a value. Requires `channels:manage`.
