# Catalog Info

> Retrieves information about the Square Catalog API, such as batch size limits that can be used by the `BatchUpsertCatalogObjects` endpoint.

`square.catalogInfo` retrieves information about the Square Catalog API, such as batch size limits that can be used by the `BatchUpsertCatalogObjects` endpoint.

## Example

```ts automations/square-catalog-info.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { square } from "automate.ax/square"

export default automation("Catalog Square Info", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Catalog Square Info" })

  square.catalogInfo()
})
```

## Inputs

Every input accepts a compatible signal. It requires `ITEMS_READ`.

This action has no inputs.

## Output

Returns the official `Square.CatalogInfoResponse` response as a codec-safe object. Square integer money amounts remain `bigint` values.
