# Get Bank Account

> Retrieve details of a [BankAccount](entity:BankAccount) bank account linked to a Square account.

`square.getBankAccount` retrieve details of a [BankAccount](entity:BankAccount) bank account linked to a Square account.

## Example

```ts automations/square-get-bank-account.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { square } from "automate.ax/square"

export default automation("Get Square Bank Account", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Get Square Bank Account" })

  square.getBankAccount({
    bankAccountId: "bank_account_id",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Every input accepts a compatible signal. It requires `BANK_ACCOUNTS_READ`.

## Output

Returns the official `Square.GetBankAccountResponse` response as a codec-safe object. Square integer money amounts remain `bigint` values.
