# Remove Group From Customer

> Removes a group membership from a customer.

`square.removeGroupFromCustomer` removes a group membership from a customer.

## Example

import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { square } from "automate.ax/square"

export default automation("Remove Square Group From Customer", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Remove Square Group From Customer" })

  square.removeGroupFromCustomer({
    customerId: "customer_id",
    groupId: "group_id",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Every input accepts a compatible signal. It requires `CUSTOMERS_WRITE`.

## Output

Returns the official `Square.RemoveGroupFromCustomerResponse` response as a codec-safe object. Square integer money amounts remain `bigint` values.
