# Retrieve Channel

> RetrieveChannel.

`square.retrieveChannel` retrieveChannel.

## Example

```ts automations/square-retrieve-channel.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { square } from "automate.ax/square"

export default automation("Retrieve Square Channel", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Retrieve Square Channel" })

  square.retrieveChannel({
    channelId: "channel_id",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Every input accepts a compatible signal. It requires `CHANNELS_READ`.

## Output

Returns the official `Square.RetrieveChannelResponse` response as a codec-safe object. Square integer money amounts remain `bigint` values.
