# Submit Evidence

> Submits evidence to the cardholder's bank.

`square.submitEvidence` submits evidence to the cardholder's bank.

## Example

import { square } from "automate.ax/square"

export default automation("Submit Square Evidence", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Submit Square Evidence" })

  square.submitEvidence({
    disputeId: "dispute_id",
  })

```

## Inputs

Every input accepts a compatible signal. It requires `DISPUTES_WRITE`.

| `disputeId` | `string` | Yes      | —       | The ID of the dispute for which you want to submit evidence. |

## Output

Returns the official `Square.SubmitEvidenceResponse` response as a codec-safe object. Square integer money amounts remain `bigint` values.
