# On Bank Account Disabled

> Published when Square sets the status of a bank account to DISABLED.

`square.onBankAccountDisabled` subscribes to `bank_account.disabled` for the selected seller. It requires `BANK_ACCOUNTS_READ`.

  const event = square.onBankAccountDisabled()

## Event

Published when Square sets the status of a bank account to DISABLED.

The signal resolves to the official `Square.BankAccountDisabledEvent` payload with `type` narrowed to `bank_account.disabled`.
