# On Booking Created

> A booking is created by calling CreateBooking .

`square.onBookingCreated` subscribes to `booking.created` for the selected seller. It requires `APPOINTMENTS_READ`.

## Example

```ts automations/square-on-booking-created.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { square } from "automate.ax/square"

export default automation("onBookingCreated", () => {
  const event = square.onBookingCreated()

  // Send event to the Square-aware order, CRM, or messaging action you use.
})

## Event

A booking is created by calling CreateBooking .

The signal resolves to the official `Square.BookingCreatedEvent` payload with `type` narrowed to `booking.created`.
