# On Booking Updated

> An API-created booking is updated in the Square Dashboard, on the seller's online booking site, or by calling UpdateBooking .

`square.onBookingUpdated` subscribes to `booking.updated` for the selected seller. It requires `APPOINTMENTS_READ`.

## Example

import { square } from "automate.ax/square"

export default automation("onBookingUpdated", () => {
  const event = square.onBookingUpdated()

  // Send event to the Square-aware order, CRM, or messaging action you use.

```

## Event

An API-created booking is updated in the Square Dashboard, on the seller's online booking site, or by calling UpdateBooking .

The signal resolves to the official `Square.BookingUpdatedEvent` payload with `type` narrowed to `booking.updated`.
