# On Customer Custom Attribute Visible Updated

> A custom attribute that's visible to your application was created or updated for a customer profile. This event replaces the deprecated customer.custom_attribute.public.updated event.

`square.onCustomerCustomAttributeVisibleUpdated` subscribes to `customer.custom_attribute.visible.updated` for the selected seller. It requires `CUSTOMERS_READ`.

## Example

export default automation("onCustomerCustomAttributeVisibleUpdated", () => {

## Event

A custom attribute that's visible to your application was created or updated for a customer profile. This event replaces the deprecated customer.custom\_attribute.public.updated event.

The signal resolves to the official `Square.CustomerCustomAttributeVisibleUpdatedEvent` payload with `type` narrowed to `customer.custom_attribute.visible.updated`.
