# On Device Created

> A new Square Terminal was created. This means the Square Terminal has been associated with the given seller's account.

`square.onDeviceCreated` subscribes to `device.created` for the selected seller. It requires `DEVICES_READ`.

## Example

import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { square } from "automate.ax/square"

export default automation("onDeviceCreated", () => {
  const event = square.onDeviceCreated()

  // Send event to the Square-aware order, CRM, or messaging action you use.

## Event

A new Square Terminal was created. This means the Square Terminal has been associated with the given seller's account.

The signal resolves to the official `Square.DeviceCreatedEvent` payload with `type` narrowed to `device.created`.
