# On Dispute Created

> A dispute was created.

`square.onDisputeCreated` subscribes to `dispute.created` for the selected seller. It requires `PAYMENTS_READ`.

## Example

  const event = square.onDisputeCreated()

## Event

A dispute was created.

The signal resolves to the official `Square.DisputeCreatedEvent` payload with `type` narrowed to `dispute.created`.
