# On Gift Card Created

> A digital gift card was created or a physical gift card was registered.

`square.onGiftCardCreated` subscribes to `gift_card.created` for the selected seller. It requires `GIFTCARDS_READ`.

## Example

  const event = square.onGiftCardCreated()

## Event

A digital gift card was created or a physical gift card was registered.

The signal resolves to the official `Square.GiftCardCreatedEvent` payload with `type` narrowed to `gift_card.created`.
