# On Invoice Published

> An invoice was published. This also applies to invoices that are published but scheduled to be processed at a later time.

`square.onInvoicePublished` subscribes to `invoice.published` for the selected seller. It requires `INVOICES_READ`.

## Example

```ts automations/square-on-invoice-published.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { square } from "automate.ax/square"

export default automation("onInvoicePublished", () => {
  const event = square.onInvoicePublished()

  // Send event to the Square-aware order, CRM, or messaging action you use.
})
```

## Event

An invoice was published. This also applies to invoices that are published but scheduled to be processed at a later time.

The signal resolves to the official `Square.InvoicePublishedEvent` payload with `type` narrowed to `invoice.published`.
