# On Merchant Custom Attribute Definition Visible Updated

> A custom attribute definition that's visible to your application was updated.

`square.onMerchantCustomAttributeDefinitionVisibleUpdated` subscribes to `merchant.custom_attribute_definition.visible.updated` for the selected seller. It requires `MERCHANT_PROFILE_READ`.

A custom attribute definition that's visible to your application was updated.

The signal resolves to the official `Square.MerchantCustomAttributeDefinitionVisibleUpdatedEvent` payload with `type` narrowed to `merchant.custom_attribute_definition.visible.updated`.
