# On Terminal Checkout Updated

> A TerminalCheckout status was changed.

`square.onTerminalCheckoutUpdated` subscribes to `terminal.checkout.updated` for the selected seller. It requires `PAYMENTS_READ`.

## Example

  const event = square.onTerminalCheckoutUpdated()

## Event

A TerminalCheckout status was changed.

The signal resolves to the official `Square.TerminalCheckoutUpdatedEvent` payload with `type` narrowed to `terminal.checkout.updated`.
