# Archive price

> Deactivate a Stripe price without deleting its history.

Use `stripe.archivePrice` to deactivate a Stripe price without deleting its history.

## Example

```ts automations/stripe-archive-price.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { stripe } from "automate.ax/stripe"

export default automation("Archive price", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Archive price" })

  stripe.archivePrice({ priceId: "price_123" })
})
```

## Inputs

`priceId` is required. This action sets `active` to `false`; existing subscriptions and transactions keep their price history. `idempotencyKey` is optional.

Inputs use camel case and accept compatible signals. Automate.ax converts provider fields to Stripe's wire format. Metadata keys remain unchanged.

## Output

Returns the inactive Stripe Price. Output fields use camel case. Stripe decimal fields such as `unitAmountDecimal` are lossless strings.
