# Cancel payout

> Cancel a pending manual Stripe payout.

Use `stripe.cancelPayout` to return funds from a pending manual payout to the available balance. Automatic payouts cannot be canceled.

## Inputs

`payoutId` is required. `idempotencyKey` is optional.

## Output

Returns the canceled payout.
